Notes from home and abroad: essays on Philippine history and culture, with a dash of my own experience.
I’m Lexi Zotomayor, a journalist who has spent years writing about islands, archives and the people who keep the past alive. Ditse is where I write about home: the Philippines, and the Filipinos who carry it with them abroad.
These are not textbooks. They are field notes: what I read, where I went, who I asked and what I still wonder about. Mga sanaysay sa kasaysayang may saysay: essays on a history that means something.
